Please confirm each of the following
I have done an on-site walkthrough of my landscape project with a member of the Straight Line team.
All aspects of the project have been completed to my satisfaction. If there are any concerns, we have addressed them by creating a punch list?
If plants were part of my project, it appears all the plants are alive and in good condition. If not, these plants were added to the punch list?
If sod was installed as part of my project:
It appears the sod is alive and in good condition.
I understand I’ll need to make the proper watering adjustments after the first 2 weeks, and that my failure to do so may lead to overwatering.
I understand there must be no walking, playing, running, or activity whatsoever on the newly installed sod for the first 2 weeks.
I understand the grass must be watered, mowed and fertilized regularly.
If installed as part of my project, I have been shown the irrigation timer(s) and instructed on their use:
I understand their basic operation.
I understand I’ll need to make seasonal adjustments.
I understand it’s my responsibility to be aware of watering requirements for my landscape.
I understand if something breaks or is not working properly I will need to take corrective action that may or may not be covered under my warranty.
If installed as part of my project, I have been shown the lighting timer(s) and instructed on their use:
I understand their basic operation.
I understand I’ll need to make seasonal adjustments.
I understand the basic maintenance requirements for my landscape. I will handle the maintenance myself of hire someone to do it for me.
The member from Straight Line went over the warranty with me and I understand the warranty starts the day after the walk through has been completed.

*Warranty is automatically started the day after your walk through has been completed.
Plants
*
Straight Line Landscape will warranty all plant material for a period of 90 days from the date of installation. Straight Line Landscape will replace all material covered under warranty with the same species and size, if available, on a one-time replacement basis at the end of the 90 day period. This warranty does not cover ocotillos, annuals or plant material not supplied by an irrigation system installed by Straight Line Landscape. Additionally, plant damage due to frost, wind, wildlife, vandalism and acts of God will not be covered under warranty. The warranty period shall be void if irrigation system settings are adjusted outside those recommended by Straight Line Landscape.
Irrigation
*
Straight Line Landscape will warranty the irrigation system for a period of one (1) year against defects in material, construction and installation of irrigation and drip systems. The warranty provides coverage for the timer(s), valves, heads, pressure vacuum breaker, pipe and leaks. This warranty will not cover normal wear and tear for items including sprinkler head adjustments and emitter malfunctions. Warranty coverage shall be void if irrigation system, and/or component thereof, is modified by any party other than Straight Line Landscape.
Hardscapes

Straight Line Landscape will warranty all hardscape structures for a period of two (2) years against defects in craftsmanship and material. Customer is aware that slight cracks in flagstone grout, due to the lack of expansion joints, are not covered under warranty. Stucco will be covered under warranty for a period of one (1) year. Due to Arizona climate hairline cracks in stucco surfaces are not covered under warranty.
Water Features

Straight Line Landscape will warranty all water features for a period of two (2) years against defects in craftsmanship and material. This warranty will not cover normal wear and tear. Pumps and other mechanical equipment included in the water feature are covered for a period of one (1) year.
Lighting
*
Straight Line Landscape will warranty all professional grade lighting systems for a period of one (1) year against defects in craftsmanship and material. Malibu ® , and other store bought brands, can be purchased and installed but will not be covered under warranty. Furthermore, bulbs and bulb replacement will not be covered under warranty.
Maintenance
*
We do our best to design and build the landscape of your dreams. However, Straight Line Landscape is not a maintenance company and your warranty does not include general maintenance. For your convenience we’ve provided a useful guide with tips and resources for the upkeep of your yard. Please understand you are responsible for the maintenance of your landscape.
